Our Story
In 2005, Greg Marshall and Roger Davis saw a need for a professional space that catered to Black professionals in the Central Texas area. They co-hosted an inaugural mixer to create a community where Black professionals could join for fellowship, networking, and support. This event was the seed that eventually led to the official founding of the Black Professional Alliance of Austin in 2012.
Since then, through hard work and consistency, the Black Professional Alliance of Austin has become a thriving collaboration of Black professionals, organizations, and businesses. It has become a beacon of excellence and empowerment in the community, providing a platform for Black professionals to connect, collaborate, and elevate their careers.The Black Professional Alliance of Austin is “collaboration at its best.” With a solid commitment to excellence, innovation, and community engagement, the Black Professional Alliance of Austin continues to fill the need for a professional space that empowers and uplifts Black professionals in Central Texas.

We are dedicated to promoting the success and advancement of our members through meaningful connections, professional development, and advocacy for equity and inclusion in the workplace.
